Wesley Niesten

Wesley Niesten is a co-founder of We Shape, a foundation that is committed to talent development projects in the music industry, with a focus on Urban Culture. In collaboration with the WOO HAH! festival, We Shape has realized projects such as the WOO HAH! Pressure Cooker. Wesley Niesten organizes, guides, coaches, and provides support to talented young individuals in the music industry.

In addition, Wesley Niesten is also active as an independent artist manager under the name Wide AM. He is involved in all aspects of the career of one or more artist(s), including events, production, networking, international tour management, and music. Wesley Niesten has an extensive network of artists, business partners, companies, record labels, and publishers within the creative industry.

Apart from his activities within We Shape and Wide AM, Wesley Niesten also has experience as a consultant and teacher. He has worked as a part-time consultant at Curio, where he initiated business and analytical vision within internal projects with the aim of increasing the organization’s visibility and engagement. Additionally, Wesley Niesten has also been a mathematics teacher for first-year students in MBO Social Work.

Wesley Niesten believes in the “each one teach one” principle, which is also central to the overarching EMOVES. He is dedicated to supporting and facilitating young individuals in their development within the music industry through his work at We Shape, with the goal of representing the scene and the cooperative.
